You may recall we purchased a Parker Knoll three piece leather suite from you in the sale. It was delivered on the 5th January by two of your employees to Mildenhall.

I just wanted to email you to commend your two delivery men, they were brilliant, courteous, polite and professional. I know this was not an easy delivery for them but they managed it really well.

I don’t normally write emails like this but I think it is important to flag up over and above service like this.

Just like to say a big thank you for your service and understanding during the stressful time we had regarding ordering a bed from yourselves.

Despite being given good and sound advice, I thought, as the customer ‘I knew best’. Therefore went along and ordered just a mattress instead of taking your advice and ordering the base as well.

After some weeks of not being able to sleep well after the mattress was delivered and several phone calls to your good selves! I finally took your advice and ordered the base.

Your understanding and service during this time, have been outstanding. You obviously have the ethos ‘the customer is always right ‘ despite knowing they plaintively aren’t !!

I now await the base and thank your wonderful team.

Wednesday morning 11th we had another delivery or furniture to our home from your store, this thank you letter is sent for the following reasons:

1. Your two delivery men were real professional workers, carpet to lay down when entering, shoe covers, polite etc.

2. Staff on telephone, sales people in various departments are helpful and pleasant

3. We always enjoyed our visits, mainly sale times, as two senior citizens we like a change sometimes!!

Just wanted to say a big thank you: we visited Norfolk three weeks ago, and saw a soap dish in the store. Unfortunately, after we’d been for lunch in the café (very good) we forgot about it. But it was just what I wanted. So I emailed the shop, and they sourced it, and sent it to us.

Just a short note to thank Reeds for sourcing the 4 metre Silent Gliss Panel track system to go across our folding doors.

Karen was fantastic, working with us from initial request through to installation and adjustment. Suggesting alternative designs and price range, we really felt we were put at the heart of things.

The panel blind system look amazing, and a few months on, is standing up to daily use – clearly the level of quality product we were looking for.

We had not seen this type of system before and the end result is much better than we had hoped for.

This is a short note to say how much I enjoyed shopping at your store.

I came on the 10th June to look at three piece suites. I was served by Darren (a very polite and helpful young man). I returned on the Saturday, again served by Darren and purchased a suite, with which I am highly delighted.

Now I come to the two people who delivered the suite (a young lady and a young man). They too were very pleasant, helpful and most caring.

It makes a very refreshing change to visit a store where the assistants greet you with a smile and cannot do enough to help you, and where it makes shopping a pleasurable experience.

I shall be visiting your store again in the not too distant future and will be certainly recommending your store to my friend

I am writing to express my thanks to your staff for the excellence of the service they provide. This morning my wife and I looked at Denby White china (after our usual visit to your exceptional cafe with its superb scones!). Not having any writing implements on us, we had to borrow a pen and paper to enable us to consider what, if any, items we wished to purchase. Having investigated our options, we decided that we needed 10 each of the cereal bowls together with side plates and dinner plates. I therefore visited your store shortly after 2:15pm and was served by Graham who said that the order would be delivered shortly. Some 30 minutes later he telephoned to say that the delivery would indeed be made within the hour – and at about 3:20pm your van duly arrived.

In short your service is an example to all. We were very happy at the competitive terms that you offered, and our pleasure was enhanced by the courteous and efficient manner in which our transaction was handled. It is so nice to receive a local service of such quality and I am sure that, notwithstanding current economic difficulties, your business will continue to flourish, as you all deserve. So often in this day and age we are all too ready to criticize for one reason or another but this is not such a letter!

I want to express my appreciation for the splendid way in which the members of your staff, namely Mr Graham Baker, Darren of the furniture department and the ladies in the linen department who dealt with me over recent times.

I have recently become a widow which was a heavy blow and if that wasn’t enough I had a burst water pipe in the loft which amounted to considerable damage – hence the visit to your store.

They did a brilliant job – blankets to protect my flooring, careful handling with no damage to my old or new furniture, hard working, punctual, very accommodating (helped to move the old settee upstairs for me) and all carried out in good time and with a smile!
